At school I have a friend called Kieran he is one of my best friends. He is really good at football and is a good friend to have. Kieran collects Match Attax like I do but collected the old ones from last year. Kierans dad is in the army and came over from Germany to Ripon. He hasn’t been at Holy Trinity school for long, but he now has to go to Belgium in April, so he will be leaving Ripon again. I hope he will come back to Ripon again as he is a really nice friend and I will miss him a lot.

When he leaves Ripon I am going to try so hard to keep in touch with him and I really want my Mum and dad to get him a website set up like mine so that I can keep up with what he is doing. Kieran plays for Ripon Panthers and I think he has probably scored a lot of goals.

Ethan has sorted his full list of all the cards that he needs to finish his Match Attax book, he has put them all on his blog … so you can see the players Ethan needs for his Match Attax swaps.

I need to get all mine worked out this weekend too … maybe i’ll get ethan to do mine!

There are the Match Attax 2008/9 cards that I need to complete my teams .. then I will have to work on getting all my Man of the Match and Special cards finished off.

ME and Ethan have been going to Brazilian soccer skills in Ripon for a few weeks now and our next lesson is tomorrow. It is really cool as we learn lots of football skills like kickups, the ronaldo chop and really good ball control. At the end of each session Brian makes us do kickups in front of everyone, last week I did 6 and ethan did 4 in a row. We have to try to get to 10 without the ball touching the floor.

We got our proper balls last week so that we can practice our skills at home, and we also have a really smart blue Brazilian Soccer kit. Dad takes us to the lessons after school, and then we get to go to Macdonalds while mum stays late at work.

I was asking my mum at the weekend if we are going on holiday anywhere this year. Mum always sorts out all the holidays that we take. She says if she doesn’t then we’ll never get away. So far we have booked Easter on the Isle of Man, May half term in Marbella in Spain and July in Centreparcs.

For my literacy homework at the weekend I was doing about countries and writing a sentence for each letter of the country, like AMERICA, ITALY and DUBAI. I didn’t know where Dubai was so we go my atlas out. But then mum showed me some pictures on the internet. Wow its amazing … its got a really big island with hotels on and a massive tower thats a hotel. It looks like a big sail on a boat. Mum said that we might sort out a real adventure on a cruise ship. She showed me the site that is always in the paper at the weekend and showed me the Dubai cruise holidays on the Ocean Village 2 ships. I can’t believe how massive the cruise ships are and all the things me and Ethan could do on them. If we could get to dubai this year on a cruise ship that would be unbelieveable. I asked if we were going on a cruise to the Isle of man and thats in the middle of the sea, but we’re getting a little plane out of leeds. Its so exciting.

I have been colllecting Match Attax 2008/2009 cards for the last few months and I nearly have a full set of at least the team players. I still have quite a lot of Limited Edition and Man of the Match cards to collect. I have a few friends at scholl who have swaps on match attax cards so i need to get my list together of what cards I need and maybe I can get my collection all done. My mum bought Ashley Young from ebay the other day but she got the limited edition card which i already have, i need the normal player card. Never mind!
